When it came to creating a new race, the team behind the Hillfort Hustle had one vision - to create something they would love to take part in. It had to be mostly off-road with some challenging climbs and great views. Ten miles was agreed to be the perfect distance and, when the race was run, there had to be beer and food and a chance to chat about the experience with friends.

 

Working in partnership with The Aymestrey Fete, Croft Castle and The Gatley Estate, The Hustle takes runners on tracks that few have the opportunity to explore. Add wonderful views and the chance to enjoy a drink and something to eat with friends at the finish and we think it's just about the perfect race.

 

The Hillfort Hustle is organised for Croft Ambrey Running Club. a friendly, England Athletics affiliated club for all abilities in North Herefordshire.
